Looking for a quick, easy and kid-friendly dinner? This meal fits the bill! It’s not healthy, though there are some ways you could lighten it up a bit, but let’s be honest. Sometimes the best meals aren’t low-calorie! I’m sharing this because it was my absolute favorite dinner growing up – I requested it every birthday. And it’s just straight-up comfort food, ya know? Here’s what you’ll need:
Ingredients:
Chicken breasts (2 large), cooked and cubed or shredded (seasoning of your choice)
6 oz. of cream cheese, softened
3/4 C Mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
2 rolls of Pillsbury crescent dough
Directions:
1. Combine chicken with cheese.
2. Roll out crescent dough and separate only into rectangles (you will have 8).
3. Place chicken mixture onto the crescent dough rectangle and then fold dough over, pinching sides.
4. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
Enjoy! Something tells me you’ll be making these again and again.
