Apple and cinnamon go together like peanut butter and jelly. And these grain-free muffins have plenty of both. Toddler-approved and easy to whip up, these will have you licking your lips and reaching for one more!
Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups of almond meal or flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 TBSP cinnamon
1/8 tsp salt
2 apples, peeled and diced
1 C applesauce
1/4 C butter
1/4 C maple syrup
4 eggs
Directions:
Mix up dry ingredients in a bowl. Add wet ingredients and combine well. Bake in oven for 350 degrees for about 15 minutes. Enjoy!
*These will be on the moist side because of the applesauce.
