Why are stocking stuffers sometimes the hardest thing to shop for? You’re looking for small size items that aren’t terribly expensive, yet quality items that won’t just be tossed to the side. When you have some good ideas, though, I think stocking stuffers can be super fun! I’ve compiled a list of twelve items that would make great stocking stuffers for little girls, ages 2-5. Most of these will end up in Chloe’s stocking … some are already purchased!
I want to give a shoutout to my mom blogger pal over at Mama Jots for introducing me to a new small shop, Flora & Peg. They have the cutest handmade toys over there, and not only did one of their items make my list, but their stackable rainbow found on the mama jots gift guide will be under the tree this year!
Without further ado ..
- These wooden peg ladies from Flora & Peg! Customize the dress and hair color, as well as the hair style!
- Playdoh! Such an obvious choice, right? Chloe will have a bunch of this in her stocking – she goes through it fast!
- A pink cat beanie for the winter.
- This tree ornament (along with a few other related options) that is just the sweetest.
- REAL cookies! This company will ship homemade, customized gingerbread cookies.
- This gold cat ear headband.
- These darling fabric necklaces.
- A sweet “magic” wand.
- Soft chenille socks! They come in a few different colors.
- Shopkins! Chloe is not into this yet, but I hear it’s pretty popular … this mini set would be fun in a stocking.
- Stickers on stickers on stickers. Chloe can’t get enough!
- This Little Feminist Book set – pictures and names of strong women throughout history! There is also a set of playing cards and a puzzle available in the same theme. I found the set at Anthropologie, but they sold out and a friend told me it’s available on Amazon!
Happy stocking shopping!
xoxo,
Heidi
